The short version. The extension is free; PRO is a paid upgrade sold through Paddle with a 7-day trial on subscriptions and a 30-day refund window on your first charge. Cancel whenever you like and keep PRO until the end of what you paid for. Use it on your own machines, don't resell it or crack it, and know that it changes how video looks on your screen and nothing else.

Who we are

Zoom to Fill is made and operated by Juan Gabriel Mazzoleni, an independent developer based in Argentina. You can reach us by email at contact@zoomtofill.com and for billing at pro@zoomtofill.com. Our support page explains what to send where.

In this document, "we" and "us" mean the above. "You" means the person using the extension. "The extension" means the Zoom to Fill browser extension, and "PRO" means the paid upgrade to it.

What we provide

The extension changes how video plays inside your own browser: it can crop or scale a video to fill your screen, sharpen it, smooth its motion, and light the area around it. It runs locally on your machine and on video that your browser has already received.

The core of the extension is free. PRO unlocks additional features, and is offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are on the plans page.

Eligibility

To buy PRO you must be able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you, and be at least 16 years old. The extension is not directed at children under 16, which is also where the Privacy Policy draws its line.

Purchases and who sells to you

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

In practice: when you buy PRO, your purchase contract for that transaction is with Paddle, who handle checkout, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and refunds. This is why your card statement reads Paddle rather than Zoom to Fill. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the transaction itself.

Payment details are collected by Paddle and stay with Paddle. What reaches us is described in the Privacy Policy.

Trials, renewals and cancellation

  • The monthly and annual plans begin with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. The trial is offered once per customer: if you subscribe again later, the plan starts at its normal price.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Renewals are charged at the then-current price of your plan; if that price changes, we give you notice before your next renewal at the new price, with time to cancel first.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep PRO until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
  • The lifetime plan is a single payment with no renewal. It grants PRO for as long as the product exists and is not a promise about any particular future feature.

Moving to a more expensive plan takes effect immediately, with the unused part of your current period credited against the new price. Moving to a cheaper plan takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for and does not return money.

Refunds

PRO is refundable for 30 days after your first charge, on every plan; renewals are not automatically covered. What counts as the first charge, and both ways to request a refund, are in the Refund Policy.

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal; our 30-day window is longer, and the statutory rights section of the Refund Policy explains how the two fit together.

Your licence, and its limits

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the extension and, if you pay for it, PRO. You may use it on the machines you personally use.

You may not:

  • copy, republish, resell or redistribute the extension or its source, in whole or in substantial part;
  • reverse engineer or circumvent the licence check in order to obtain PRO features without paying for them, or help others do so;
  • share credentials or activation links so that people who have not paid gain PRO access;
  • use the extension to break the law or the terms of a service you are watching.

The extension, its name and its design remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of any of it.

Third-party video services

Zoom to Fill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, Disney, Warner Bros. Discovery, or any other video service. Their names appear on our site only to describe where the extension works.

The extension changes how video is displayed on your own screen. It does not download, record, redistribute or remove protection from anyone's content. Your agreement with each video service is still yours, and you remain responsible for keeping to it. Those services can change how they work at any time, which can break parts of the extension until we adapt.

Suspending or ending access

We may end PRO access where a payment is reversed through a chargeback, where a refund has been processed for the purchase that access rests on, or where the licence limits in section 7 are being broken. Where we do this because of a payment reversal and the payment is later settled, access comes back automatically.

You can stop using the extension whenever you want by removing it from your browser. Removing it does not by itself cancel a subscription: cancel from your account page on this site, or through paddle.net.

Availability and changes

We do not promise that the extension will be available without interruption or free of defects. PRO status is carried in a signed token that your browser can verify without contacting us, so the paid features keep working during an outage on our side.

We may add, change or remove features, including PRO features, as the product develops. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will say so before it takes effect.

Warranties and liability

The extension is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the extension or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.

None of this limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this section.

Indemnity

If your use of the extension breaks the law or these terms and a third party brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs that claim causes us. This section is about your unlawful use or your breach; it does not apply to ordinary use of the extension as provided, and it does not limit any right consumer law gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice through the extension or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the extension after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, and the courts of Argentina have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts, and it does not affect your rights against Paddle as merchant of record.

If something goes wrong, write to us first: most disputes are a support conversation, and the complaints section says how we handle one. Nothing in this section requires you to arbitrate or stops you from using a court.

General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the extension. The purchase transaction itself is additionally governed by Paddle's buyer terms.
  • Severability. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest keeps working without it.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a part of these terms is not a promise to never enforce it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of the product, and your rights survive the transfer unchanged.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by events reasonably outside our control.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback about the product, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with the product or with how a purchase was handled, email pro@zoomtofill.com with what happened and what you would like us to do. Complaints about the payment itself can also go straight to Paddle at paddle.net, since they are the merchant of record.
