Everything new, improved and fixed in each version.
- Improved Every aspect ratio fills now. A shape narrower than the video crops the sides instead of being greyed out, and the one that names your monitor fills it exactly, on 21:9 ultrawides and notched MacBooks too.
- New One keyboard shortcut per aspect ratio is back, next to Next aspect ratio, so a single key takes you to your monitor’s shape. Keys you had bound in version 2 carry over.
- Improved Auto Re-apply remembers an aspect ratio again. The Zoom | Aspect Ratio row keeps your last pick and fits it to each new video, instead of repeating the zoom it had on the last one.
- New A keyboard shortcut shows in the panel’s pill what it just applied, like the name of the profile you switched to.
- Improved Zooming glides smoothly again, as it did in version 2, even on 4K 60 fps video.
- New A lighter panel with fewer animations, always on when Chrome’s hardware acceleration is off and available to everyone as Reduce panel animations in Settings.
- Improved With hardware acceleration off, clicking a feature that needs it explains what to turn on, instead of covering the panel.
- Improved The panel shortcut opens the panel and keeps it open until you visit it and move away. Press it again to close. It works even with the floating panel turned off in Settings.
- Improved When a PRO feature can’t load, the panel looks as always and a click on the feature explains why while it retries on its own. It turns the feature on the moment it loads. If your session expired, Sign in takes you straight to the email form.
- Fixed A shortcut bound to Space no longer also plays or pauses YouTube.
- Fixed The Zoom to Fill and Elastic Stretch buttons in the toolbar popup work again.
- Improved The popup controls the video live: dragging the Scale slider moves it as you drag, and the popup follows every change made from the video, including the Fluidity frame rate.
- Fixed Profiles load in the toolbar popup.
- Fixed Elastic Stretch fills videos whose black bars sit inside the player, as on some sites in fullscreen.
- Improved Your zoom stays for the whole tab, from one video to the next, without setting anything up.
- Improved The panel stays out of sight until the cursor moves up the video.
- Fixed The panel no longer appears on its own when the next episode starts.
- Improved The popup and the keyboard shortcuts work on any visible video, as in version 2: YouTube Shorts, embedded players, small players and muted loops.
- Improved PRO features are ready the moment you subscribe or sign in, and recover on their own after a network hiccup instead of staying locked.
- Fixed On Windows, NVIDIA RTX Video Super Resolution and the Intel and AMD video enhancements keep working while you zoom.
- Improved The panel over the video rests as a small, faint pill and only opens when you click it.
- Fixed Videos in embedded players from Dailymotion, Vimeo, Twitch, Facebook and TikTok are found again.
- Fixed Streaming sites with protected video, like Canal+, keep their player once playback starts.
- New Turn off the floating panel, or each player button, in Settings. The toolbar popup and the keyboard shortcuts keep working.
- New Shortcuts can be a single key again, like [ and ], and letter keys ignore Caps Lock.
- New Keyboard shortcuts for the Zoom to Fill and Elastic Stretch player buttons.
- New YouTube theater mode when filling is a setting. If you came from version 2, it starts off.
- Improved The zoom button shows the zoom level whatever changed it: a shortcut, the panel, an aspect ratio.
- New Released version 3.
